Specializing in Web Design, Development, Deployment, Server Administration, and Web Project Management, Clator Butler Web Consulting operates out of Woodbridge, VA, (a suburb of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area) but serves clients nationwide from Florida, to New York, to Alaska.

Clator brings 15 years of internet experience and has been developing and maintaining web sites since 1995. He has expertise in project management, user-centered design, interface development and server administration. He serves as the main point of contact for all contracts and projects and handles day-to-day maintenance of code and content, secure networking within the company and with remote hosts, coordinating development resources, and providing creative solutions to complex problems.

Before becoming an independent consultant, Clator worked for MicroStrategy, Inc. where he served as the Manager of Interfaces and Services for Strategy.com, and was in charge of portal design and specification. Prior to joining MicroStrategy, Clator worked for the Newspaper Association of America, where in addition to being the Webmaster, he trained and mentored New Media Minority Fellowship recipients from newspapers around the nation in how to build and maintain community web sites. Clator also worked as a consultant for Maden Tech and Olympus Group, serving government clients both local and federal, as well as commercial and not-for-profit agencies.

Clator holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clemson University. The department is one of the nations leaders in human factors engineering (ergonomics).
